Fall Golf: Pros and Cons

Fall Golf: Pros and Cons

It’s that time of the year again. The leaves are changing, the temperatures are dropping, and the holidays are just around the corner. Overall, Fall gets plenty of love, and for good reason. However, there are downsides to everything. Luckily, the 1803 Marketplace is happy to bring solutions to the downsides to make your performance this Fall as proficient as possible.

Pros:

  1. Cooler Weather

Admittedly, this is pretty self-explanatory. The days of sunblock are finally over. Tee times don’t have to be at 7:00 am anymore so you won’t be too hot. Finally, you can head to the course and be comfortable all day. What’s not to like?

  1. Scenery

Golf is already the most enjoyable sport in the world, partially due to the course itself. Courses are beautiful by themselves, but the addition of warm reds and oranges certainly add to the effect. Maybe you like to enjoy the moment, and maybe you like to grab a quick picture for Instagram. Either way, there’s no drawback here!

  1. Small Talk

Maybe you get paired with a random person, or maybe you’re sick of hearing the same 10 stories from the buddy you’ve been golfing with for 10 years. Regardless, the Fall provides an opportunity for golf to be truly relaxing, not having to resort to silence or talking about work. Football is back, basketball is up next, the World Series started; the list goes on. Not to mention many of these sports will remove casual “weekend warriors” from the equation and leave the course to the people that are here to play and improve their game.

Cons:

  1. Rain

With Fall comes rain and, if you live in certain areas, even sleet or snow. Obviously, these pop-up showers are all but ideal. Luckily, we’ve got your back. Don’t let a little rain ruin your whole trip. Stay dry with the 1803 Champion Embroidered Packable Rain Jacket!

  1. Freezing Mornings

We know, we know. Cooler temperatures are a good thing. However, that statement shouldn’t discredit that early mornings can be pretty chilly, even below freezing some days later in the season. You can always take layers off, but you can’t put them on if you don’t have them! Let us handle the cold mornings with the 1803 Sunday Logo Sweatshirt or 1803 Sunday Logo Hoodie!

  1. Less Daylight

November calls for Daylight Savings Time. Each day, it gets darker just a little earlier. This makes it nearly impossible to even attempt a quick 9-hole-match after work. Unfortunately, there isn’t much of a fix for this. However, your friends at 1803 encourage and support your decision to take the day off work and create a long weekend for yourself.

Be sure to exercise the pros of Fall and rely on your friends at 1803 to help with the cons. Be sure to shop all these products and more and enjoy $5 off your first purchase for first-time customers!
